By installing or using TextHook ("the App"), operated by Narrative Systems Ltd ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
TextHook monitors incoming SMS messages on your device and, where they match filter rules you have defined, forwards them to HTTP endpoints (webhooks) you have configured. All forwarding is initiated and configured by you. TextHook has no servers and does not inspect, store, or process your messages beyond what is necessary to perform this on-device forwarding function.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of TextHook complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App.
TextHook offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade processed through Google Play. All sales are final, subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not control refund eligibility — contact Google Play support for purchase disputes. The Pro upgrade unlocks additional features as described in the app; we reserve the right to adjust Pro features over time, provided that existing core functionality is not materially removed without notice.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular SMS message will be forwarded successfully or in a timely manner.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, missed notifications, or loss of business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro upgrade (or £5 if no purchase was made).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
You are solely responsible for the webhook endpoints you configure in TextHook. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the availability, security, or data-handling practices of any third-party services that receive forwarded data.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice, though we will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes. Updates may add, remove, or change features.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
